Of girls and performers Is it just me, or are M’sian girls becoming a bit more daring with their dressing? Just something I noticed as I walk around neighbouring housing areas. I always thought that M’sian girls were always conservative when it came to dressing, but I may have to change that view slightly. This was somewhat evident when I went to the “Unplugged Nite” at The Hub. Ellie invited me to this event, and I have to say, there are some really talented youngsters out there! I thought Mia Palencia, the main artiste for the night, was superb in her singing! I overheard someone saying last night that, a mark of a good singer is one who can showcase his/her voice really well, without overdoing it, and I have to say, I thoroughly agree with that person. Mia was excellent, showing great control of her voice, and at the same time, showcasing her powerful vocals. I thought all the performances after Mia did really well, including Ellie’s solo and her duet with Ann Nyee (not sure abt spelling). Just before I left for Unplugged, I was watching the latest season of American Idol, and I thought some of the performers would be able to do quite well if they went to the Malaysian Idol contest haha! Some of the singers in AI were horrendous! O_O” Will be going out with Yan Ling tomorrow afternoon. She’s my uni-mate from I’ll probably be coming back at the end of this year, as one of my favourite cousins, Nigel, is getting married at the end of the year. This might open up the possibility of Seiko coming to M’sia with me, but it’s all just a possibility at this stage. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens. aarongzr wrote his/her thoughts @ 11:18 am
