Entry: Campus City Jan 25, 2007

had campus city "worship 101" today, as described by Jason Khong, one of the leaders of CC..quite a number of ppl turned up..i'd say abt 30? a lot of new ppl were there, to start serving in CC, which is a great thing! it's always good when ppl r willing to sacrifice their time n energy to serve God by serving His ppl..

we started off with a word of prayer, followed by a short introduction by Jason..he then welcomed Carol, a girl from Melaka who just returned to CC just today..she brought pineapple tarts from Melaka! my favourite!! woohoo~~ it had a different type of taste to the usual pineapple tarts though, for some particular reason..Carol reminded us that we're serving for God and not ourselves..and that everyone who serves is just as important..she also said that worshipping God comes in many ways, not just music, but serving drinks n ushering ppl into the premises..

there was like a huge choir today, as everyone not involved in the music team was in the choir..n i have to say, it sounded good, especially in the 2nd song, You Are..it's always nice when there r 2 parts being sung at the same time..the words to the 2 songs, You Are and Great is Our God, are really good..just praising God for who is..an AWESOME God!

had some trouble with the chords, as they were playing You Are in a different key..for one thing, when i play this song in my church in Sydney, we play it in the actual chords..anyway, shall not ramble abt the technical side of music till i bore my (extremely) few readers..

went to MMU today for a small group meeting with some international students there..my first time in Cyberjaya, and my first time in MMU..hmm..it's so isolated!! so far away..it was a good meeting i suppose..there was a good turnout today..it was very encouraging to see them remembering last Sunday's sermon so well..

Seiko went shopping at the biggest sale of the year in Japan..she took a picture of her holding 6 shopping bags!! it's such a big sale, that they can only allow a certain number of ppl inside the building, as to prevent overcrowding! can u believe that?! n there was a long line to get into the building itself..but it's a really good sale, from what seiko told me..

learning japanese is getting harder >_< sigh..
